Start-up  Pitch Competition

Come and hear the next generation of entrepreneurs as they pitch their business idea that has the potential to create positive social and environmental impact.

You will hear from the finalists of the competition, the judges who will provide feedback and the winners will be announced.

A very exciting opportunity to learn about what it takes to do a great pitch, understand what investors might be looking for and how to get your idea from a concept to reality.

The finalist of the start-up pitch competition will be invited to do their pitch in person on the 12th of August, details are as follows:

Come along and enjoy a variety of performances of all kind that complements the theme of the youth festival, inspiring resilience and empowerment, caring for the country and creating the world we wish to live in.

Come along for a vibrant night of dancing and singing and at the same time supporting young artists, which will uplift, inspire and energise body and spirit. Performances will include singers, performances, singer-songwriters, dancers, mimes, comedians, magicians etc.

Clothing Swap With Purpose & Fashion Program

Come along to our Clothing Swap With Purpose and start building your sustainable wardrobe!

The Immigration Museum opens its doors to our Clothing Swap with Purpose. It will be an opportunity for you to update your wardrobe and enjoy a sustainable fashion parade.

It will also be a great opportunity to learn from our guest panellists how to shop with more purpose, choose flattering pieces you’ll wear again and again, and identify the most sustainable garment fabrics. Your shopping will benefit not only your wardrobe but also Mother Earth.

Enjoy the spontaneous fashion show and hear from panel speakers.

re-generation international youth film fest 22

The films selected for the inaugural re-generation international youth film festival all reflect aspects of the 2022 youth festival’s overall theme of resilience and empowerment for young people. From a brilliant award-winning Claymation Bad Bugs from the festival’s youngest filmmaker, 10-year-old Bryn Wright in the USA, to the multi-award-winning silent film Cracked by Turkish filmmaker Mahmut Tas, the festival has something for everyone! 

Produced by the School Broadcasting Network Inc in collaboration with the LA International Children’s Film Festival and the One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest, the aim is to offer uplifting films to inspire and engage the hearts and minds of our audience, both the young and young-at-heart, whilst providing a platform to showcase the work of young filmmakers who are making a difference.

The Film Festival will run on the 12th of August at the Immigration Museum, details are as follows:
