Moral Fairground has a long-standing reputation as a proactive organization and leader in creating and delivering awareness-raising events and programs for the ethical living and social enterprise sector. Moral Fairground was established in 2009 to promote the growth of ethical and social enterprises, enable individuals, communities and businesses to connect and engage with each other, and encourage actions that create a positive impact. We are passionate about creating opportunities for people and businesses alike to learn about sustainable and socially responsible ways of doing things.
Moral Fairground has held a wide variety of events including:
Fair@Square: A free and public ethical lifestyle festival, and feature of Melbourne since 2009, that encourages people from all walks of life to understand the impact of consumer choices, and connects businesses to the general public.
Victorian Fair Trade Festival: A free and public fair trade festival that promotes fair trade and informs and educates people about fair trade and its relevant industries such as tea/coffee and clothing.
Ethical Enterprise Conference: A conference for ethical business and social enterprise, established in 2014, that brings together individuals and businesses interested in ethical living, social enterprise, and related topics.
Ethical Enterprise Award: An award, established in 2013, that recognizes Australia's ethical enterprise that demonstrates positive social and economic impact within the communities they operate in.
Early Ethical Entrepreneur Pitch Competition: A pitch competition, established in 2015, for businesses in the ideation stage or less than 2 years old that are looking to jump-start their enterprise.
Ethical Networking Events: A series of regular social networking gatherings, each with its own topic of discussion, that encourages people interested in ethical living, social enterprise, and related topics to stay connected.
Most of our initiatives are driven by volunteers with a passion and vision for creating a world that is just for all. Our volunteers have a big impact and contribution in delivering events or creating new ones.
How to apply for a volunteer opportunity?
If you wish to volunteer, you will need to complete the volunteer registration form by clicking on the Apply for Volunteering Opportunity button below.
If you are unable to use the online registration, you can download the Application Form attached below, complete it and send it to the volunteer coordinator at info@moralfairground.com.au
