Presentation Creative Stream "Bridging the Gap: Leveraging Social Enterprises to Drive the Transition to a Circular Economy"
I am an enthusiastic learner dedicated to excellence, with a keen interest in multidisciplinary research focusing on ‘Zero Waste’. In my career, I have been deeply involved in research on material science and the circular textile economy, consistently keeping up with trending topics in the textile industry. This commitment has led me to pursue research as a research scholar at School of Fashion and Textiles, RMIT University, Australia, where I focus on "Utilization of Textile Waste into Value-Added Products”. My extensive experience spans academia-industry consulting, event collaboration, and faculty responsibilities in textile sciences and fashion design. In my previous projects, I’ve provided expert consultation and partnered with organizations such as CRDC, the Zero Waste Festival, the Asia Street Food Festival, and contributed to a Country Road initiative focused on reducing CO₂ emissions and assessing environmental impacts across textile life cycles. I am eager to collaborate on upcoming zero waste initiatives and bring my experience to new sustainability-focused projects.
