Dr Sharon Zivkovic has been working in the social enterprise sector for over 25 years. In 2001 she received an Enterprising Woman of the Year Award for ‘making communities more enterprising, taking advantage of their communal strength’, and in 2021 her work in Applied Complexity (Social Entrepreneurship & Wicked Problems) was recognised on the Map of the Complexity Sciences. Sharon is the Founder and CEO of the social enterprise Community Capacity Builders which supports communities to build their capacity for systems change. Recently, Sharon has established a Centre for Autistic Social Entrepreneurship to support the creation of neurodiversity-affirming entrepreneurial ecosystems.
