As the Events Manager at the Law Institute of Victoria, the leading membership association for Victorian lawyers, Susan has organised hundreds of events including sold out productions at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Fun Runs for 1000+ participants, panel discussions at various Melbourne festivals, and corporate events featuring prominent speakers from the legal, business and political arena. Susan has also managed the largest membership section at the LIV where she worked with over 70 volunteers to produce a triannual journal, mooting and negotiation competitions, a mentoring program between judges and young lawyers, submissions to government, a monthly newsletter and many events for the membership section. Prior to life at the LIV, Susan worked as a commercial lawyer, focusing on mergers and acquisitions.

In 2009, Susan explored her interest in fairtrade by coordinating the Fair Living tent at the Fair@Square Festival. She thinks that the best part of her job is bringing inspiring people and the knowledge they have, to the public’s attention.
