This interactive workshop is designed around your questions and your needs and is relevant to members and friends of Moral Fairground who are running a micro or small social enterprise, not-for-profit and private foundation.

Moral Fairground has invited Lionel Lee to conduct this workshop because unlike your run-of-the-mill seminar, Lionel prefers hosting a workshop that is interactive and applies his practical Q&A approach where you get immediate answers to your most burning financial planning questions related to fundraising, financing, capital management, and investor/donor/customer relations. Lionel will also share strategies, structures and systems drawn from his experience in Australia and globally. He will also share strategies, structures and systems drawn from his 20 years of commercial, finance, investment and nonprofit experience in Australia and globally to your advantage.

About Lionel

Lionel Lee loves working with social enterprises, foundations, nonprofits and non-governmental organisations, and contributing to their success. He is always searching for better ways to operate, organise their finances, structure giving, reach out to donors and beneficiaries, and gain more support from stakeholders. Lionel brings a unique blend of commercial, investment and governance experience across 16 industries and 22 markets to his nonprofit and philanthropic engagements out of the USA, Switzerland, Monaco, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore including the World Economic Forum, Opportunity International USA, Prince Albert of Monaco Foundation, Habibie Center, People's Association and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. He has spent over 16 years serving on the board, committee and task force of NGOs, NPOs and government bodies in areas of funding, investments, marketing, healthcare, education, poverty alleviation, humanitarian aid and child sex trafficking. In Australia, Lionel has shared insights on finance, investment, and real and financial assets as a guest of Kaplan Business School, University of Melbourne, Asialink, JBWere, Deloitte Private and Opportunity International Australia. He was a treasurer for JCI Sydney and judge of Moral Fairground's Ethical Enterprise Awards and Early Ethical Entrepreneur Pitch Competition, and Asialink's Leaders Program. He also advised to the New South Wales Department of State and Regional Development's Stepping Up Program for high growth technology startups and the structure of an AUD100m early-stage venture capital fund borne out of the New South Wales Department of State Regional Development. Lionel has built over USD500 million of nett asset value in global real estate, private and public equities and fixed income as an asset owner and investor. He is a Partner at InvesUnited, a private investment holding and family office, and an advisor to 13 organisations including family offices, investment holdings, private equity, fund management, economic advisory, NPO and NGO.
