Title: What it means to be a purpose-led business and how to design and implement a purpose-led strategy
Synopsis: Today's leaders are rethinking the role of business in society. It is clear to many that maximising profits as a primary goal is no longer effective, sustainable or equitable. It’s not tolerated by the broader community; it doesn’t attract, engage or retain the best talent; it doesn’t give adequate consideration to the social and environmental impacts business may have or solve the signficant problems of our time.
It is possible for organisations to become more prosperous, resilient and impactful, not by focusing on maximising profits per se, but by becoming clear about why they exist and to reimagine how they might create value in ways that will improve the world.
A clear sense of purpose and a strategy to put that purpose into practice can equip both new and established businesses to improve the world.
This session led by Danielle Duell - CEO and Founder of People With Purpose will provide an introduction to purpose-led strategy and how to design and implement one in your enterprise.
