Synopsis: ‘I”m Not Good On Camera!”. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that phrase when I intervieweed people, I’d be retiring onto my own Island off the coast of QLD right now. Which I would hate, so that’s a good thing. Why is it that some people who are just good at getting attention stand out, while others who do truly great things don’t? In the past 25 years I interviewed thousands of business leaders, social entrepreneurs and founders of non for profits who had various degrees of success: anywhere from major impact to hardly making a dent. What I learned that the number 01 obstacle for growth is our own mindset and beliefs. We wonder if we’re worthy, interesting or relevant enough, which often leads us to live smaller lives than we should. Based on 25 years of communication and content production experience, this workshop dissects what holds us back and what strategies and we can use to get past our own hurdles so that our and our people’s voices are heard. We are facing huge challenges: everyone needs a voice in creating the solutions, so the first step is to make sure we are heard and understood.
