Fadi Elbarbar is the co-founder of 3 Steps Away, a platform designed to encourage students to think critically about global issues in a way that can bring about authentic and meaningful change.  Fadi is a father of two young boys, a husband, and a secondary school teacher. Very early in his teaching career, Fadi noticed a large gap in student's knowledge of social justice issues, and if there was an understanding, a way of meaningfully taking action. He began a social justice group in 2010 with four interested students, which grew to almost 200 by the time he left that school in 2017. Fadi has been recognised by many organisations across Victoria and Australia for his passion for social justice, his exemplary social justice programs, and project management skills.
