Luke Kerr

Founder and Director Real Time Learning

Partnerships Director Mindflight7

Having taught for 19 years in mainstream secondary schools both in London, UK and Melbourne Australia, Luke observed increasing levels of student disengagement, particularly in Mathematics.

For the last 9 years Luke has been on a journey to reimagine ways of making learning more meaningful and engaging. Luke sought to build a model of learning that primarily focuses on “learning by doing”, thus Real Time Learning (RTL).

Luke uses a variety of technologies to enhance student engagement.

More recently Luke has been invited to take up a role as the Partnerships Director for Mindflight7. Mixed Reality explores new ways to tell a narrative and make learning more immersive.

Real Time Learning’s (RTL’s) Purpose is to support schools in expanding their capacity to deliver stimulating, enriching, and future-focused STEM learning experiences by establishing significant partnerships with industry and the tertiary sector.

Mindflight7 (MF7) is a unique Australian VR content development and educational technology company. MF7 provides specialist Virtual Reality services including ground-breaking Virtual Reality Career Pathways and Subject-Specific Education Programs to hundreds of schools and learning institutions across Australia.
