Koji has a background in mechatronic engineering and science, and is looking for ways to work towards a sustainable and fair world.
When he saw the effects of the 2011 East-Japan Earthquake and helped out in small ways with the recovery of Tohoku, he began to think about how much the first world takes for granted, and also realised the importance of sustainability, fairness and community. Since then, he has been striving to get involved in the local community and practise ethical consumption. He is also interested in living a lifestyle of fitness, and believes that physical activity and enjoying the outdoors have a role to play in sustainability.
He first joined Moral Fairground in 2014 where he helped out at Fair Trade Fortnight, Ethical Enterprise Conference and Fair@Square.
