Fruit2work creates second chance jobs by selling fruit boxes to offices in Melbourne. They have partnered with two charities (TaskForce and First Step), sell to multiple customers in the CBD and had their first program placement start in July.

Why Apply?
The aim of the early entrepreneurial pitch competition is to provide entrepreneurs with an opportunity to present your idea to four business and social entrepreneurial leaders who are influential in the community and who have the mentoring skills and resources to support an entrepreneur or enterprise to make a concept a reality.
1 Gain visibility and the opportunity to pitch at Ethical Enterprise Conference.
2 Pitch your idea to a room full of passionate supporters of ethical enterprise – who may want to support your idea to become a reality.
3 Free ticket to Ethical Enterprise Conference 2018 where you can learn and build networks.
4 Free ticket to the Ethical Enterprise Award dinner on the evening of the 25th of October 2018.
5 Prize for finalist – Red Hat Impact will choose one of the early pitch finalists to receive 6 months of free access to its ‘Exploring Growth’ program, where the finalist will get one-on-one business strategy advice and facilitated introductions to assist them in taking the next steps with their idea.
6 Early Pitch winner will receive “Premium Support” from StartSomeGood to launch their crowdfunding campaign – either at the “Advising Partner” level or a $500 credit towards one of the higher levels. All packages are designed to help you design and launch a great crowdfunding campaign.
7 Bespoke business modelling and impact management consulting, valued at $2,000, with Dr Chris Dembek and Dr Jodi York from the Asia Pacific Social Impact Centre, authors of the new and free e-book, Actionable Impact Management. This consulting will (1) review and evaluate business models in use (or planned) with particular attention to assessing and maximising stakeholder value creation and capture, and (2) review or develop theory of change and impact management framework.
8 The Toxic Fox Show will invite at least one of the Early Pitch Finalists to receive a membership to an early stage six-month virtual Cultivate Circle, a mastermind group facilitated by Cultivate.biz. Facilitated Masterminds are a powerful tool, and they provide peer-to-peer support and accountability to help entrepreneurs to grow and achieve the impact they set out to make when starting their enterprise.
9 Inner Circle with Hemi Hossain a 6 months mentoring program to help you with your business idea, including 3 days boot camp and monthly catch up valued at $20,000.
Early Ethical Enterprise Pitch Competition Award Process and Eligibility Criteria

The judges will shortlist applicants to pitch their idea at the Ethical Enterprise Conference, on the 16th of October 2017. Each applicant will be given 5 to 10 minutes to present a competitive and innovative pitch.
Eligibility Criteria
Your concept may aim to positively contribute socially or economically to communities locally or overseas in the following areas:
Four industry leaders will judge the entrepreneurial pitches against following eligibility criteria:
1 The pitch or concept must have the potential to provide a positive impact on the social, economic and environmental status of a local or overseas community, through innovative and ethical practices.
2 The pitch or concept must have the potential to provide positive outcomes and change in a community through its trade practices or as a result of a proposed enterprise model.
3 The business concept must be well research and development and would therefore benefit from industry feedback and support.
