valuable member of the Moral Fairground team, we have
lots of opportunities available.
Moral Fairground has been hosting fair trade and ethical
festivals since 2009, we are passionate about creating
opportunities for people and businesses alike to learn
about sustainable and socially responsible way of doing
things.
Most of our events are driven by volunteers with a
passion and a vision for creating a world that is just
for all. Our volunteers have a big impact and
contribution in delivering events or creating new ones.
Moral Fairground is the organiser of the Victorian Fair
Trade Festival in May and the biggest annual fair trade
and ethical Festival, Fair@Square in December.
Be Part of the Festival and Events Team
Opportunities now are open for Volunteers to assist with
the Victorian Fair Trade Festival 2013. We are planning

Volunteer Role Application
Roles Available
Volunteers Co-ordinator
The Volunteers co-ordinator role will be to seek volunteers, assign tasks, deliver and put together volunteer induction program and manage volunteers at the events during the Fair Trade Fortnight.
The Volunteers Co-ordinator will need to demonstrate leadership and communications skills but also someone that is organised and flexible. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking at gaining experience in managing resources.
PR and Marketing Co-ordinator
This is an exciting role for someone wanting to put their PR and Marketing skills at work and coming up with a creative PR/Marketing strategy to promote the Victorian Fair Trade Festival. The PR/Marketing co-ordinator will be responsible for prompting the event via various channels, writing media releases, contacting media and organising interview.
Activity and Programs Co-ordinator
The activities and programs co-ordinator will be responsible for coming up with various activities relevant to the various events happening during the Fair Trade Fortnight. The Activity and Program Co-ordinator would need to be creative and should be able to come up with activities targeted at both children and adults.
Photography and Videographer Volunteers
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to gain photography and/or filming experience within a festival/event environment. You will be documenting Festival events, performances, exhibitors and volunteers. Your documentation would then be shown on the Moral Fairground facebook, You Tube and website. You should be friendly, approachable and have your own camera or filming equipment.
Information Volunteers
The information Volunteers have a number of functions including distribution of Program, managing competition registration, evaluation reports, general information about the event and Fair Trade. The Information volunteer will need good communication skills, have an understanding of fair and ethical trade and should enjoy meeting and greeting people.
Visual Art and Artistic Volunteers
Volunteers will have a chance to work with established visual artist for the Power of the Social Flower Visual Display which will be on exhibition at the Fracture Gallery from the 5th to the 12th of May. You will need to be creative, able to work with different mediums, keen to work as a team member and able to provide support to the visual artist to deliver the exhibit.
Administration Volunteer
The admin volunteer will be engaged in various aspects from managing applications, record keeping, statistical data, keeping information up to date on various databases, designing application forms. This roles requires someone that is extremely organised and enjoys structure, must have excel and word knowledge.
