Victorian Fair Trade Fortnight Festival 2017

Moral Fairground is running two exciting festivals this year where you (the exhibitors) have the opportunity to participate and showcase your ethical, fair trade, and sustainable products as stallholders.

The Victorian Fair Trade Fortnight Festival will run from August 4 – 17, 2017 and we will be running two undercover fair trade markets during that period at the Preston Town Hall on Gower Street, Preston.

Market 1 – Sunday the 6th of August 2017 open to public from 10.00am to 4.00pm
Market 2 – Sunday the 13th of August 2017 open to public from 10.00am to 4.00pm

We’re inviting like-minded organisations to be part of this exciting event, and make their mark. The 2017 Fair Trade Festival is going to bigger and better than ever. The annual event hosted by Moral Fairground has been attracting hundreds of visitors for years, and together with partners like you, we can extend our reach. Here at Moral Fairground we advocate for sustainable and ethical business practices, so communities across the world can have a brighter, and fairer future. If like us, you too share these values, we strongly encourage you to get on board the Fair Trade Festival. In unity we can inspire and educate so everyday people can make informed choices, for positive outcomes.

  • For further details email us, once we receive your enquiry, someone will call you back within 24 hours.

Once your application is received, the exhibitor committee will assess your application to make sure it meets the Festival Criteria. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail with further instructions.

If you book ALL three events before June 30, 2017, you’ll receive 30% discount on the exhibitor’s fee. Applications after midnight on the 30th of June will incur full cost.

  • Organisations working directly with producers/farmers and contribution to social and development
  • Ethical Clothing Australia
  • Creative and craft industries
  • Ethical services eg Investment funds
  • Fair trade workplaces and universities

  • Profit or not for profit business addressing local or disadvantage communities their commercial activities
  • Business that has a positive social outcome and contributes to social development
  • Businesses explicitly focused on addressing Australian Indigenous empowerment and economic development
  • BCorp  – a business that carries the BCorporation certification

  • NGO or campaigns groups with explicit objectives or campaigns relating to fair trade, justice for developing country farmer or workers, overseas development

  • Business and organisation supporting or implementing ethical food and food production
  • Free Range
  • Animal welfare groups
  • Business supporting no animal testing
  • Business advocating ethical food production

  • Business or organisations growing or selling local food product from small farmers
