The Fair Trade Mother’s’ Day Market forms part of the various activities Moral Fairground hosts every year to promote fair trade during the Fair Trade Fortnight. The Fair Trade Market offers visitors the opportunity to engage with local and innovative enterprises; opportunity to shop ethically on Mother’s Day. This year the Town Hall Atrium will come alive with plenty of fun activities and delicious food for the whole family.

The Fair Trade Mother’s Day Market  offers a great opportunity for exhibitors to connects with targeted consumers and demonstrate how your business is commitment to sustainable, ethical and fair trade to the Brunswick community. A beautiful, vibrant location, committed to ethical living.

Fair Trade Mother’s Day Market – Brunswick Town hall, Brunswick

The Fair Trade Market 2015 is one of the events during the Victorian Fair Trade Festival. This year the Fair Trade Market will fall on Mother’s Day, a perfect time to buy conscious gifts and celebrate the values of Fair Trade. We encourage all families to enjoy this this day together at the Fair Trade Market.

The Market will also offer a number of activities, cultural entertainment, a Fair Trade creative display in partnership with RMIT, fashion related and other activities for the whole family. This is the first year we will be running the Fair Trade market in the beautiful, central and vibrant Brunswick Town Hall.

All exhibitors at the Fair Trade Market you will have the opportunity to:

Who can exhibit at Moral Fairground Festivals?

Moral Fairground wishes for the Victorian Fair Trade Festival to be authentic in its mission to have a positive impact on the environment and people, by supporting fair and ethical trade, to Third World producers, ethical and local businesses.

Credibility of a Fair and Ethical Festival is essential. When consumers see the Fair Trade Certified label, they know that what they are buying is made in an economically, just and ecologically sustainable way.

The below criteria has been established to ensure the authenticity of products and services that are exhibited and thus the integrity and credibility of the festival. Moral Fairground organisers screen all applications and reserve the right to deny entry to the festival, product or service, if they believe any products do not meet the exhibitor criteria.

  • Business that has a positive social outcome and contributes to social development
  • Businesses explicitly focused on addressing Australian Indigenous empowerment and economic development

  • NGO or campaigns groups with explicit objectives or campaigns relating to fair trade, justice for developing country farmer or workers, overseas development
