City of Melbourne Mayor Robert Doylemayor-city-melbourne-logo
The Victorian Fair Trade Festival promotes justice, sustainability and social responsibility as part of the broader Fair Trade Fortnight which is celebrated around the world.

The Victorian Fair Trade Market on May 4 will be a highlight of the festival which will see the Atrium at Federation Square transformed into a bustling marketplace filled with fair trade, children’s activities and other events.

A fantastic new addition to the festival this year is the Fair Trade Event Trail where community members are invited to host their own event or activity and join people all over the glove during Fair Trade Fortnight.

I encourage you to make the most of The Victorian Fair Trade Festival to support local sustainability and better prices and conditions for farmers and workers in the developing world.
