Ethical Enterprise Conference 2014 (EEC)

Moral Fairground, is pleased to announce the inaugural Ethical Enterprise Conference to be held at Rydges Bell City, Preston (Melbourne) on November 19, 2014. This one-day business networking and educational conference is designed for small to medium-sized social and ethical enterprises. With the theme, ‘The Attitude of your Business’, EEC 2014 will provide you with the tools to operate successfully in the growing field of social, ethical or fair-trade business.

The program includes workshops, case studies, guest speakers and seminars on branding, trademarks and accreditation, protecting your intellectual property, attracting funding and investment, trends in sustainable and responsible consumerism and better business practices. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story and get talking with like-minded social and ethical entrepreneurs who work across a variety of business sectors.

Delegates will be divided into two streams: Stream 1 is geared towards start-up enterprises less than 18 months old. Stream 2 is for businesses that have been established 18 months +. Both streams will combine for afternoon sessions and a panel discussion facilitated by Melanie Raymond, Chairperson of Youth Projects.

After the Conference, we’d love you to stay for dinner and be part of the Ethical Enterprise Award 2014. In its 2nd year, this Award evening is all about recognizing and celebrating the most inspirational, ethical entrepreneurs in Australia. We aim to acknowledge businesses that have achieved a positive, social and economic impact in a local or overseas community. The Award night is open to Ethical Enterprise conference delegates, Ethical Enterprise Award applicants, finalists and media partners. We’re expecting the Award night will attract over 200 attendees.

Whether you are an established ethical enterprise, an eager start-up or just plain curious to find out how sustainable, socially responsible trade practice is affecting positive change across the globe, Ethical Enterprise Conference 2014 will be the largest platform of its kind for social and ethical enterprises to network, discuss the challenges and rewards of being part of the ethical and social enterprise community and learn from fellow passionate traders and investors. What’s the attitude of your business? Come and be part of the conversation on November 19, 2014.
