Lynda Ford

Director, iGen Foundation

Lynda is the CEO of Enterprising Partnerships and is privileged to have lived and worked in some of Australia’s most multicultural local government areas in Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.

For the past 30 years she has held a range of roles in the for profit, not for profit and local and state government sectors and has worked domestically and internationally in the areas of youth entrepreneurship, community development; multicultural and intercultural policy and practice; long-term skills planning; local government planning; community engagement; child protection; youth homelessness; youth offending and community based crime prevention

She is an Intercultural Cities expert appointed by the Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities Program and works with local governments across Australia to implement interculturalism, a practice which builds on multiculturalism by meaningfully bringing together Australian Indigenous and non-Indigenous people with people who have arrived as migrants or refugees.

She has held many board positions over the year and is currently a Director of YoutNow and iGen Foundation and an Advisory Board member of RefugeeTalent.

She is the co-lead for the Australian chapter of Techfugees and speaks in Australia and overseas about intercultural practice, youth entrepreneurship, the role of local government in community cohesion, intercultural refugee settlement, social innovation for refugee inclusion and diversity.
