Australian Ethical is Australia’s leading ethical superannuation fund and investment manager with over $2.2bn in funds under management.

Phil has over 30 years’ experience in financial services. He is also a Director of the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia, the Investor Group for Climate Change and the Planet Ark Environmental Foundation, and Chairman of the climate change research organisation Beyond Zero Emissions.

Australian Ethical was launched in 1986 and is a publicly listed company that invests and operates its business according to its Ethical Charter. With one of the highest levels of corporate giving in Australia, 10% of its profits fund its Community Grants. It was the fastest growing super fund in 2016 for both assets under management and growth in members. It was the first super fund and investment manager, and the first ASX listed company to become a certified B Corp in Australia – and in 2015, 2016 and 2017 Australian Ethical was awarded one of the ‘Best for the World’ B Corps, ranking it in the top 10% of 1,300 B Corps globally.
